Time flies. It’s now 2012, and before I leave behind 2011, let me recap some of the important lessons that I learned. First thing that came to my mind are the hassles and problems that we encountered when we were buying a laptop. Its very easy to be blinded by cheap laptops, but if you have not done your homework like what happened to us, you’ll get into the painful process of early replacement or delayed refund. Here are some tips that you should consider before buying:
- Know your budget and know the models that are within it
- Research on the specs and good point of the models you are planning to buy
- Research on all the complaints and problems that current users of the models are encountering
- If you see too many complaints, better move on to other models
- Research on complaints about the store that you are planning to buy at as well
It has been a very busy Christmas for me and my family. We had to go to so many relatives, attend church activities, prepare gifts, food and so many other little things. My son was expecting toys, while I was expecting something useful like a CozyWinters.com electric mattress pad, or maybe a new guitar gig bag. We all have so many things in mind.
Thankfully, even after so many years, I can still clearly recall how we sang this song way back when I was in Kinder. And just like the memory, its message is still as clear as when I sang it back then. The lyrics was intentionally repetitive to remind me what Christmas is for. Christmas is a time to love!
Shopping for Christmas gifts is not exciting to both me and my wife but it is for our son Kuya Z. Just earlier we went through heavy December traffic to get to a mall to buy a few gifts for Christmas. The longest time was spent looking for kiddie gifts, and we ended up buying some toys and shirts. I found it amusing how some adults were interested in funny t-shirts, which I assume they would be giving to their unsuspecting friends. Thankfully we got some of the gifts down and we probably just have to get a few more.
