Motorcycles are now very affordable – and I have even been offered by some relatives to get one for free, but we still choose not to use this mode of transportation. And why? Because of the inherent danger with the vehicle. It would be rare to have our nightly news without mentioning a motorcycle accident or problem! Too bad because I have always pictured myself as a motorbike rider – probably because of watching too many Kamen Rider Black episodes. I do know how to ride one but until these road safety issues are properly addressed – and drivers here improve, then I might be able to live out my dream, to get gmax helmets, and ride a nice fast motorbike.

How Do You Make Your Kid Drink Milk?
Buy him a milk cup, of course!
Not just any cup but something he really loves.
This was what we learned after we bought him this Captain America cup. It even comes with its own red spoon. If it’s hard to make him drink milk before now it’s a breeze. Hopefully this will last a month. By then I would have to buy him a new cup. LOL!

Cousins
While I was looking for a rifle scope pictures online someone came for a visit. My grandfather loves to hunt and this is the perfect accessory to his rifle.
Anyway, we were surprised when we heard a knock on the door. It was my brother who brought my nephew for a visit. My son was ecstatic because the two are best of friends. Both of them are six and they’re both homeschooling.

My son was not yet done with his PACES so his friend has to wait. While waiting my wife took some more shots. Here is our youngest, Zack with his Kuya Ren.

Little Zack who is already 7 months was curious with our visitor. Just look at him checking Kuya Ren out.
Here are the the cousins.

Future Guitarists
Every Saturday, I have the privilege to teach some aspiring musicians at our church. I do this willingly because I remember my young self through these kids. I started learning to play the guitar when I was in my teens. I was a self thought musician but my first exposure was at my church so this was also a way of me giving back.

As more and more children are becoming engrossed in playing computer games and social networking sites it makes me happy that there are still some children who want to learn how to play a musical instrument. That is why as long as there are still students willing to learn I promise that I will still devote my time to teach them this worthwhile hobby.
Online Shopping
Yes, I was bitten by the latest parasitic epidemic bug – online shopping. We now have multiple online stores that specializes on various types of products, from gadgets to computers, clothes, restaurants, plane tickets and almost everything else. Who would have thought you can buy diamonds online, in the safety of your own home? Since I am looking for a laptop, I’m currently browsing through gadget / technology type online stores and enjoy the options I see there. Some are even cheaper than the prices at malls and actual stores. Just remember to always be safe and never give out information and payment unless you are 100% sure of the trade. Safe shopping to everyone!
Insurance or Mutual Funds?
I’ve been investing on mutual funds for a few years now, but I haven’t tried insurance yet. There have been a number of times where friends have approached me to try out insurance – and see what it offers. Some of the terms are tempting, but I am still inclined towards investing. However I might consider getting life insurance for seniors, just for our parents. We have seen some at work and it did help them nicely. Any suggestions, hit the comments!
Missing messages
There are times when I miss important calls and messages because of dead spots at home, and you know how ugly and painful when they strike – right at very important calls. And since mobile communications are very important it’s been kind of hard to imagine how life would be without them. Although I lived my younger years free of such mobile devices – I do understand the convenience of having them. Some even go as far as installing their own home cell booster. Still I wonder what was the price to pay for such technology – health hazards, lost childhood? Who knows?
Sometimes I Cry – 2011 Song of the Year
Here’s a video that I first watched at one of the plasma tvs at a mall while waiting for my wife. A few weeks later I was asked to sing back up and play the guitar for this same song for a friend.
Sometimes I Cry by Jason Crabb is a very inspiring song. It’s the winner of the 2011 Song of the Year Award by the prestigious Dove Awards. If you haven’t heard it then stop for a moment to listen to this wonderful and inspiring song.
